Utilising the expertise and experience of our team, board and partners, the CSPP undertakes research on key policy areas at the forefront of the political agenda.
This research feeds into reports, parliamentary submissions and evidence-based interventions into public debate in order to promote positive change to the benefit of all of us who live in Scotland.
Our areas of expertise include public services, health, education, local government, community empowerment, rural areas, towns and cities. Examples of output from our policy work include:
- Our June 2015 Evidence Statement to the Commission on Local Tax Reform, created with our members' input.
- The CSPP's Reshaping Scotland Herald supplement on public services in the 21st century.
- Our August 2014 “Provocation paper” on the health service: A National Health Service or an Empty Umbrella?
- The Commission for School Reform in partnership with Reform Scotland. Read the final report: By Diverse Means.
