'Having partnered with the CSPP on several high profile political policy events, they never fail to provide an extremely professional service delivering stakeholder events of a very high calibre. Their ability to attract senior key figures from both a political and public sector spectrum to their events facilitates meaningful engagement with some of Scotland's key individuals and organisations.' (Novartis)
The Centre began chairing and hosting dialogue dinners as part of our Fringe sessions at party conferences. However due to popular demand we now host these dinners all year round, allowing CSPP members to get to the very heart of the policy debate with key speakers from the public, private and third sector.
Dinners are invite only to ensure only those who wish to share and discuss the pressing issues are in attendance and a full overview of the topic in question can be debated to create a new policy narrative.
Examples of the themes our dinners have touched upon are:
- Where does Local Government fit in post-2014 Scotland?
- How can we ensure the needs of local communities are at the heart of the political and local service delivery debate?
- How can we work together to shape Scotland's reform agenda?
- How can Local Government lead on public service reform and make the most of inevitable change?
If you would like to get involved in co-hosting, or are interested in attending upcoming dinners, please contact Elaine Bone for more information.
