CSPP Seasonal Message

From our December newsletter, a message of thanks to all of our members and supporters in 2015.

As the year draws to a close, we would like to thank you for supporting the Centre in 2015.

Over the past twelve months we have helped to shape the policy debate in Scotland to reflect the importance of both people and place. Our activities have included our party conference fringe programme with senior members of the Scottish Government; in-conversation events with leading figures from Scottish public life; Fairer Scotland discussion forums; engagement with the Scottish Parliament and the Commission on Local Tax Reform; and maintaining a continuous presence in media and online in order to offer expertise and advocate positive change for all of us who live in Scotland. You can read reports from many of these activities on our library webpage. We have also greatly enjoyed working with our partner organisations, including our spin-outs Scotland’s Towns Partnership and Adopt An Intern, which have experienced great progress in this period.

In the New Year we look forward to announcing further events and initiatives as attention shifts to the Holyrood parliamentary elections. We also welcome any feedback from members and supporters for developing our services as a partner in the policy community. If there is an issue or area you would particularly like to collaborate with us on in 2016, please do get in contact to discuss this further.

From the whole CSPP Board and Team, we wish you our Season’s Greetings.
